a melodic playground for your eurorack system
Ziggurat is a 4 channel quantizer designed to turn any combination of control voltage and gate signals into inspiring and unexpected melodies. Ziggurat provides a fresh way to explore harmonic relationships - wandering through different combinations of note masks, input signals, ranges and offsets until the music catches your ear - at which point all settings on the module can be easily saved for later reference
note mask
Adjust your note mask on Ziggurat’s 12 note keyboard to explore different harmonic ideas
channel link
Quickly link and unlink any combination of Ziggurat’s 4 channels for easy polyphonic pitch exploration
slew per note
Apply slew on specific notes in your note mask for interesting bending and sliding pitch
chain sequence
Type in a sequence to feed into the quantizer and step through it with gates or move through it with CV
about ziggurat
-
- 14hp
- 25mm deep
- 90mA on +12V, 10mA on -12V, 0mA on +5V
-
- Link channels by holding multiple channel buttons down together for 1 second
- Save + Load - 35 save slots (5 banks of 7) available to save and recall all module settings
- Slew - apply a slew to any note in your note mask. Adjust slew time from 0.1 sec to 5 sec
- Root - Apply a semitone offset to a channel output to change the musical key/root note
- Offset - Apply a semitone offset before quantization
- Range - adjust the channel output voltage range in octaves from -4V to +7V. Simply press the lower and then upper bound of the range you want (or the other way around)
- Chain - enter a series of notes in sequence (like an SH101 sequencer). A gate input with step through them in order, and an input voltage of 0-5V will move through the notes entered in either direction
- Mod - assign the mod CV input to load, slew, root, offset and range to dynamically modulate these channel parameters
